GameCamp 6 tickets on sale now

April 22, 2013

Tickets for Gamecamp 6 are on sale now. The first batch went in 42 minutes, and we are in awe of your credit-card-entering skills. There’s a few of the second batch left, but you may have to move fast. If you’ve missed out, the third batch will go live at 11am on Thursday 25th April.

Anyway, we still reckon that £15 for a full-day event including lunch is a steal of a deal.

It’s shaping up to be a great GCamp—have a quick look at the list of attendees on Eventbrite or Lanyrd—and we’re looking forward to seeing you there.

    Hi James

I’m considering attending Game Camp this year, but I have a query: from the descriptions on this blog it looks as though the focus is on boardgames rather than RPGs. Is this correct? My interest is that I have a couple of tabletop RPGs in development, one of which came out last week in ashcan form; obviously they could both use the exposure.

    Thanks
    Leo

Actually, looking at it again it seems more like CRPGs are the focus.

      Leo,

GameCamp is a pan-ludic event, covering all of gaming from antediluvian classics to the latest cutting edge, and its main focus has usually been video games. The third one was designated ‘Boardgamecamp’ and we’ve had a board-games library since, but it’s neither an RPG nor a board-game event. That said, you’ll almost certainly find other RPG players up for a playtest there.

Tickets went off sale yesterday, but if you decide to come then we can come to an arrangement.

Ah, I see. In that case it’s not really for me, so thank you for the offer but I think I’ll pass. For one thing there’s a meeting of the London Indie RPG meetup group on the same day so that’s probably where I should be. Best of luck with the event :).
